FAQ
EM-Hub
With the discontinuation of the EMERGENCY Forum, the central meeting point for the entire EMERGENCY series has been lost. The Emergency Hub will not be able to follow in the footsteps of the EMERGENCY Forum, nor will it be able to completely replace it. 18 years of the EMERGENCY Forum are too long for that. But we are trying to make the best of it and offer the Emergency community a central meeting place for the Emergency series again.
Not everything that has "always been done this way" is good and still up to date. That is why we are taking a close look at the future structure. What is still relevant? What is no longer needed at all? What absolutely needs to be done differently? What do we absolutely have to keep doing exactly the same? Lots of questions... We will hopefully have the answers soon
The first priority is to activate the filebase so that the mods can be downloaded properly again. How it looks with models, skin files, ... we cannot say. The original terms of use of the authors prohibit a re-upload on another site.
That would be simply amazing. The treasure that will be lost with the shutdown of the EMERGENCY forum is immense.
You no longer have your files, but would still like to give us permission to upload them here? Get in touch with us. We, a cooperation of many modding teams, may still have your original download file. We would be happy to send it to you so that you can upload it again
We are trying to save the lexicon as best we can. But that will take time. The positive thing is that a lot has changed over the years. We have learned new ways that are perhaps easier. That is why we will check every lexicon article and revise it if necessary.
Phew. It's impossible to list them all here. However, many familiar faces from the EMERGENCY scene, consisting of members of the forum, modders and streamers (Lüdenscheid, Wegberg, RetroFitting, R3ST Design, Stadtfeld, dEEsTRIKER, Bieberfelde, Fuchsburg, Kieslingen, Martinsbrunn, Emergency Newstime, ...) are involved. Only together can we accomplish this mammoth task.
