Da ich Niederländer bin, und auf Deutsch schreiben nicht so ganz flüssig läuft, schreibe ich auf English. Hoffentlich funktioniert das.
So a little while back I got a new PC. One of the reasons for getting it, was being able to play EM4 with better performance. However, I haven't been able to play my favorite EM4 mod, Fuchsburg, since getting this new PC. I tried so many things, but I just couldn't get it to work. I don't quite recall what happened, I believe the mod loaded, but when enterin the freeplay game it crashes immediately. I did install the 4GB patch of course, but that didn't help. I even bought the EM4 version of the game, since I had the 911 First Responders version, to see if that helped. Since that didn't help, I kinda just gave up and accepted I couldn't play the game anymore.
So now I saw that Auenburg was released, and I was excited to try again, to see if a new mod would somehow fix the issue, but again, no luck. This time however it's even weirder. When I load the Auenburg mod, it loads for just a few seconds, and then goes back to the main menu. When I start a freeplay game, it becomes clear that the mod hasn't loaded and I've entered a standard EM4 freeplay game.
I checked the log file, but other than some missing mouse icons, I don't really see any issues.
PC Specs:
AMD Ryzen 7 5700X3D
AMD Radeon RX 7900 XT (20GB)
RAM Kingston FURY Beast DDR4-3200 64GB K2
I added a logfile for trying to start an Auenburg game (logfile.txt) and one for trying to start a Fuchsburg game (logfile Fuchsburg.txt).
Does anyone know what could cause this behavior and how I could fix this? I would really like to play this game again.
