Hello! So I have a problem, I am trying to customize texture of a person model, but ran into problem. For example, I found only this texture file of the model, and it has only the tapes, not the whole texture. So can I and where can I find the whole texture, and why the texture file is something like that? Also if I try to edit the texture, it will go into the game, but its glowing?
Hello! I need help with texturing!

Looks like a file that uses the alpha channel for reflective stripes in the the editor. These are the so called alpha reflections. The whole texture is in the file but you can only see the reflective parts right now.
You need a tool like Texview or DxTex to edit it.
There are toturial how to create these files but i haven't found any how to seperate them.
If I remember correctly it is as easy as to open the file in Texview or DxTex and save it as a ".bmp" to get the texture files you need.
I will check later.

Can also use paint.net and save file as .dds and change settings so the texture dont have alpha reflections anymore

Would it be Linear B8G8B8 when saving?

So I dowloanded texview 2 and I opened the file in texview but it only opens a green vindow and I can't change the file name or anything. edit: I think that I dowloanded the wrong texview
Also I tried the paint.net trick but I didn't manage to do it. So what do I need to do in paint.net to get it work? -
I just tried it with paint.net and saved it as B8G8R8 and it worked, also with B8R8G8X8.
With DxTex you can do it as following: Open the file, select Format -> "Change surface format" and select X8R8G8B8. It should show normal then, so you just have to save it.

I got it working, i got the texture from the file. But I have a new problem. In the game it has the texture and everything I do to it, but it's glowing grey? How can I fix this?

In the prototype-options, disable "Alpha reflections"
