Just tested it - you can use the Technician (5 --> TD - "Technischer Dienst" = Technical Service) and right click the car (hand symbol). It will reset the car and the people from said car (it actually just debugs it and resets the car to its origin). So if a police car (e.g.) catches fire - the two officers will step out of the car, you need to extinguish it, then repair through the technician - it will respawn at the police station. (Works with all units, as far as I could have tested it. Not sure what happens with the WLF though, that was not included in my test)

If, during the gameplay, some of my fire vehicles get burned like this (happened to me too, when HLF was passing this truck, it got burned) is there a way to get it back to be working again? Of course, the burning vehicle is not controlable, but i didnt get any chance to debug it or anything, so i towed the burned HLF with towtruck but after that, i didnt know, how to get it back to work. Do you have some advice? Anyway, nice "report".
