Hi everyone! I created a Visual Studio Code extension for Emergency 4/911: First Responders .script files.

It includes syntax highlighting, code completion, error diagnostics, hover documentation, formatting, symbol renaming, and Go to Definition support.

You can find the extension here: VSCode markeplace

    Source code: https://github.com/gustavo-bozzano/em4-vscode

    Feedback and suggestions are welcome!

I dont use a real IDE, but I do have notepad++

Is there an option available or should I consider transferring over to VSC instead?

On that note, is there anyone left besides me (and 2 others) who write code by hand anymore? Seems like everyone is using AI for every mod nowadays.

notepad++ its wayy faster than vscode, but in vscode you get language support, syntax hihglight, go to declaration, sdk help, etc

So pros/cons, no perfect software, got it.

For now I'll stay put because I'm not sure which one do you gain or lose over each.

Just FYI - your extension does not resolve the "Lang"-namespace:

(This is part of Auenburgs' Scripts, all credits belong to them.)
